About Nicole
Nicole Terry is the founder and principal of Pinnacle Education & Leadership Partners, where she partners with leaders, teams, organizations, and communities to strengthen leadership, align systems, and create lasting impact.
With more than 30 years of experience in leadership, consulting, organizational development, and early childhood education, Nicole has dedicated her career to helping people and organizations achieve meaningful and sustainable results. Her experience spans federal contracting, public-sector consulting, education, workforce development, executive leadership, and policy advisory, with a particular focus on supporting Head Start programs, early childhood systems, Tribal communities, school districts, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations.
Known for her collaborative leadership style, strategic thinking, and ability to build strong relationships, Nicole brings a practical, people-centered approach to every engagement. Whether coaching an individual leader, facilitating a team retreat, or supporting organizational transformation, she is passionate about helping others grow, succeed, and create positive change.
When she’s not supporting clients, you’ll likely find Nicole spending time with her husband and teenage son, exploring new places, and enjoying life with her dog, George. Her dedication to family, lifelong learning, and service to others continues to guide both her personal life and her professional path.
My Story
My passion for leadership and organizational development began in the classroom. Early in my career as a teacher, I saw firsthand how strong leadership, effective systems, and meaningful relationships could transform outcomes for children, families, and communities. I also saw the challenges that arise when those elements are not aligned.
Over the years, my career evolved from teaching and school leadership to directing early childhood programs, supporting Tribal communities, leading large-scale federal contracts, and advising organizations across the country. Each role reinforced the same lesson: lasting impact happens when leaders are supported, systems are aligned, and people are empowered to do their best work.
Those experiences inspired me to create Pinnacle Education & Leadership Partners. I wanted to build a practice that combines strategic expertise with a people-centered approach—helping leaders, teams, organizations, and communities navigate challenges, strengthen capacity, and achieve meaningful results.
